This page explains how to have your Crossword Zoo Rescue account and game data deleted, what is removed, and what we are required to keep.

How to request deletion

Email corelexgames@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my account”.

Open Crossword Zoo Rescue and tap the gear icon to open Settings.
At the bottom of that panel you will see Player ID. It identifies your account to us; note it down or screenshot it.
Email us from any address, including the Player ID. If you signed in with Google, emailing from that same Google address is enough and the Player ID is optional.

We confirm by email once the deletion is complete. You do not need to pay anything, and you do not need an account on any other service to make the request.

What is deleted

Your name and email address	Only present if you signed in with Google
Game progress	Level, coins, gems, power-ups, rescued animals, habitat upgrades, visitors, daily streak
Leaderboard entry	Your display name and Zoo Points are removed from the rankings
Gameplay analytics tied to your account	Events recorded against your Player ID

Deletion is permanent. Progress cannot be restored afterwards, and purchased items are not transferable to a new account.

What is kept, and for how long

How long it takes

We action requests within 30 days of receiving them, and usually much sooner. Backups are overwritten on a rolling cycle, so residual copies are removed within a further 30 days.

Deleting only some data

If you would rather not delete everything:

Stop ad personalisation — reset your advertising ID in Android Settings.
Stop notifications — turn them off for the app in Android Settings.
Stop all collection — uninstall the game. Your server profile remains until you ask us to delete it.
Remove only your Google details — email us and ask to unlink Google Sign-In; your progress is kept under an anonymous account.
