These terms govern your use of Crossword Zoo Rescue (“the Game”), published by CorelexGames
(“we”, “us”). They apply to the Android and iOS apps com.corelexgames.crosswordzoo
and to the browser version at crosswordzoo.com. By playing
the Game you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not play.
The Game is intended for players aged 13 and over. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only play with the consent of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf.
You can play without registering; the Game creates an anonymous profile so your progress can be saved. You may optionally sign in with Google or Facebook to keep that progress across devices. You are responsible for the security of any account you sign in with. We may suspend or remove a profile that is used to cheat, to abuse other players, or to interfere with the Game or our servers.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to play the Game for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or redistribute the Game or its content, extract its assets or word lists, or use automated means, modified clients or exploits to play it or to interfere with other players.
The Game contains virtual items — coins, power-ups, energy and similar — which you can earn by playing or buy with real money. Virtual items have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash or anything outside the Game, and are not your property: they are a limited licence to use them inside the Game.
Purchases are processed by the store you installed the Game from — Google Play Billing on Android, Apple In-App Purchase on iOS. Refunds are handled under that store’s policy, not by us; contact Google or Apple for a refund. Purchases made on one platform are delivered on that platform. Your game progress syncs across devices when you sign in, but a purchase is not transferred between app stores.
We may change the price, contents or availability of items, and may add, change or retire items and features as the Game develops. If we discontinue the Game, virtual items and unused balances may be lost, and we are not required to compensate you for them.
The mobile apps show advertising, including rewarded ads you may choose to watch in exchange for in-game items. We do not control the content of third-party ads. How advertising data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.
If you set a display name it may be shown to other players on leaderboards. Do not use a name that is offensive, impersonates someone else, or infringes anyone’s rights. We may change or remove such a name.
The Game is provided as is. We try to keep it running but we do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of errors, and we may change, suspend or discontinue it, or any part of it, at any time. We are not liable for lost progress or items resulting from a fault, an outage, or your device or account becoming inaccessible.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Game is limited to the amount you paid us for in-app purchases in the twelve months before the claim, or ten US dollars, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including your statutory consumer rights.
You can stop playing at any time by uninstalling the Game, and you can have your profile deleted by following our account deletion instructions. We may end your licence to play if you break these terms.
Our Privacy Policy explains what the Game collects and why, and forms part of these terms.
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the Game. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Pune, Maharashtra have jurisdiction, except where the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
